Technology and Wi-fi

Wi-fi: Internet is provided through Suddenlink Cable and the network name is ‘Hansel House’. The password for the wi-fi at the house is provided in the welcome email.

Computer and printer: There is a monitor, keyboard and mouse in the loft for use with your own laptop. You can find DVI, analog and HDMI cables in either attached to the monitor or in the desk. There is a wireless inkjet printer with scanner at the desk.

Cell phones: Verizon and AT&T have good service in the area. We do not have a “land-line” at the house.

Other electronic stuff: There is a Sonos Beam that is the soundbar for the television – you should be able to find it on the network with Sonos app or stream directly using AirPlay. The TV is Google TV and you can stream using Netflix and view our movie collection on Plex.  You should also be able to Chromecast or AirPlay to the TV. We are currently experimenting but I believe YouTubeTV will provide cable tv access.
